Cristina Cavalli

Cristina Cavalli, born in Italy, graduated in Piano and Chamber Music at the Conservatories of Piacenza and Cesena, and obtained a Master in Chamber Music at the Accademia “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola. Among her teachers, the most important to her have been three great Italians: Sergio Fiorentino, Pier Narciso Masi and Marisa Somma.

Her repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary music: several works by European and American composers are dedicated to her, and she is often asked to premiere new piano compositions (Milan, Shanghai, London, Rome, Helsinki, Belgrade, and others).

Her concert career has led her to play in important venues in Europe and Asia and America, such as Shanghai Symphony Hall, Wuxi Grand Theatre and Shandong Grand Theatre (China), Parco della Musica in Rome, San Martin in the Fields (London), New Pavillon in Helsinki (Finland), Sala Verdi in Milan (Italy), Parco della Música and Teatro Ruskaja in Rome and other notable concert halls in England, Holland, Germany, Mexico, Macedonia, Serbia, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, China, Mongolia, Finland.
He has given master classes in Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic and China and has collaborated with several universities in Europe.

He has recorded for many Radio and Television stations, including RaiSat3 (cultural channel of Italian Radio Television), CCTV (China), Vatican Radio, Alfa TV (Finnish cultural channel), Radio Belgrade.

Cristina is an official member of ECMTA (European Chamber Music Teachers' Association, Helsinki), ILAMS (Ibero Latino American Music Society — London) and an honorary member of the IIME (International Institute for Music Education — Hong Kong). In 2017, his album Ritratti won awards at the “Global Music Awards” in Los Angeles (United States).

In addition to her career as a solo artist, which she is constantly developing, Cristina participates as a speaker in conferences and talks about music and musical life, coaching, self-growing and similar topics; she firmly believes in the need to spread musical culture at all levels and in a closer relationship with the public, which is why, in addition to talking during concerts, she has devised and created Ad Libitum, a digital educational project focused on improving performance and learning and developing self-coaching.

In October 2020, he was awarded the prestigious Cartagine International Award for musical and human merits.
