Robert Silla, solo oboe of the Spanish National Orchestra. He won his first place as principal oboe in the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música at the age of 22.
He has been the principal guest in the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in Milan with Ricardo Schailly and Gävle Simfoniorkester with Jaime Martín as well as the contemporary music group Plural Ensemble. He has regularly collaborated with Orquesta de Cadaqués, Orquesta Musicaexterna and Teodor Currentzis, BandArt and Camerata Bern.

Trained at the conservatories of Valencia and Castellón, where he won the extraordinary final degree award in the class of Vicente Llimerà and the Euterpe award for the best academic career, he expanded his studies with Emanuel Abbühl at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Mannheim and with Maurice Bourgue.
