Study grants and scholarships for new students

The Escuela Superior Musical Arts has a scholarship program based on the artistic merit and economic needs of each student, all subject to the principle of equal opportunities for all applicants, free from any type of discrimination based on race, sex, nationality, religion, disability or sexual orientation. To this end, the school is generously sponsored by Kawai Spain and Pierre Guillaume's lutheria studio in Brussels.

MAM scholarships are designed for Bachelor of Music students  as well as those who enroll in the VIU Postgraduate + Master program. The management department, together with the teaching staff, will study all the cases and will decide which students can receive the grants and the amount of these.

Description of the scholarships

Students receiving a scholarship in Musical Arts are eligible for financial support based on the annual cost of tuition during each year of the Higher Degree program, as long as they request such assistance within the established deadline. To receive this benefit, it is necessary for all students to request assistance through the form. In addition, scholarship recipients must demonstrate outstanding academic performance in all subjects, actively participate in the artistic activities required by the school and demonstrate satisfactory academic progress year after year. The evaluation of these criteria will be carried out by management through progress and development reports during the academic year.

Students applying for scholarships may be invited to an individual interview for the purpose of evaluating their study skills and dedication, together with their commitment to Musical Arts. As part of their scholarship, they will be required to attend and participate in all activities organized by the school in which they are requested, and they may also be asked to collaborate in specific coordination tasks, if necessary.
