Disciple of Víctor Martín and Nicolás Chumachenco. Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid and at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg. Salvatore Accardo, Lorand Fenyves, Ruggiero Ricci and Xavier Gagnepain have also influenced his line-up. “Pablo Sarasate” National Violin Award in 1998, with which he obtained the opportunity to perform at the National Auditorium, playing Beethoven's violin concerto with the Sarasate Stradivarius, nicknamed “Le boissier”. Master's degree from the Complutense University of Madrid in the specialty of Spanish and Spanish-American Music. As a soloist, he has performed under the baton of Arturo Tamayo, Hans Zender, Massimiliano Valdés, Yuri Bashmet, Xavier Gagnepain, Fabián Panicello, Miguel Ángel García Cañamero and Jesús Amigo, among others, accompanied by orchestras and ensembles such as the Reina Sofía Chamber Orchestra, Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, Extremadura Symphony Orchestra, Sa Nostra Chamber Orchestra, Plural Ensemble, Gerhard Opraeteritum Ensemble Project. He has also collaborated with the National Orchestra of Spain, RealFilharmonía de Galicia, Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid and the Cadaqués Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has been intensely active in festivals and auditoriums in Europe, Canada, South America and Asia, having the privilege of sharing the stage with musicians such as Nicolás Chumachenco, Andreu Riera, Josep Colom, Bruno Giuranna, Alain Meunier, Gerard Caussé, Asier Polo, Denis Pascal, Joan Enric Lluna, etc. In recent years he has visited international music festivals in Seville, Úbeda, La Palma, Saint Petersburg, Copenhagen and the Barcelona Auditorium chamber cycle and the marathon ethoven, held in January 2020, in addition to the Philharmonic Societies of Badajoz, Orense, Salamanca, Bilbao, Pontevedra, etc. He has also participated in the recording of more than ten CDs with music by Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, García Abril, Tapia Colman, Arbós, Mompou, Santiago Lanchares and Federico Trillo Figueroa among others, and has numerous records for Radio Nacional, Radio France, TVE, and Radio Suisse Romande. In the pedagogical field, he is a regular guest teacher of young orchestras such as the Spanish National Youth Orchestra, Orchestra Youth of the Community of Madrid, Youth Orchestra of Les Illes Balears, Extremadura Youth Orchestra and Youth Orchestra of the University of Navarra. In turn, he has been invited as a teacher to prestigious summer courses such as those of the Prince of Asturias Foundation, in Oviedo, or “Classic Pyrenees” in Canfranc, and has carried out an intense pedagogical activity at the Conservatory of Zaragoza for 20 years, as well as at the Katerina Gurska High School, being a regular guest of various educational institutions. He currently holds a violin chair at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and continues to carry out an intense musical activity as a violinist of the Arriaga Trio, as well as with other formations and chamber groups.
The students enrolled in the program will participate in three individual classes of 45 minutes together with the professor who is the teacher of the program.
Students will actively participate in concerts throughout the duration of the Musical Arts Summer Program, performing in them the works worked with their teachers.
The master classes will be held in the classrooms of the Escuela Superior Musical Arts, which has fully equipped facilities for their development, so that course participants will be able to make use of these classrooms for individual practice.
All the activities of this program will take place between the stipulated dates (see info for each program). In them, individual classes and student concerts will take place, distributed within the indicated date range, so that students can organize their study time and prepare for their meetings with the teachers.
